Carolina Wren Not Returning To Her Babies? - wooden bird houses
I have a nest right outside my door. The mother bird builds its nest in an old house decorated with wood than I have in my porch. I have not seen the parent birds return for at least two days. Maybe she has, and I have not seen
There are four children, and it seems to be strong when you look in the nest ... Mouth open
If the mother bird has to be there with them now 8 pm sharp here. I think that feeding young birds.
Has anyone an experience, what to do.

Unless you see the nest continuously hours .. rather his visits to the nest to miss. If I had not eaten anything in 2 days, these birds are in poor condition. The mother should sleep in the nest during the night while the children are young and without feathers. Once you are full (with hair about 5-6 days) are covered, the mother is not necessarily sleep in the nest with them. The only way to determine with certainty whether there is a tendency for these children from a hiding place do not know (as would be a predator, and the adults eat when you are in the vicinity of the nest) continuously. After 20-30 minutes you should adults go back to the nest. The visits can be quickly, you do not look away this too long. If after an hour or more, we see absolutely no evidence for adults .... Then you can think about getting the bird in a rehabilitation center for wild animals. You should not try to feed or take care of yourself .. not only illegal, but if young birds before .. raised rather die in their care. Hopefully they are not abandoned... I think parents are relatives and caregivers.
Find a local rehabilitation center if needed here:

Carolina Wrens eat mealworms, so if you think you are, you can feed the small birds, worms, until they leave open. But it is possible that the wren is just to feed them and they can not see, because often the birds, perhaps 1 or two insects are fed to chicks. Stick insects beaks of chicks and then dash to keep more food for their children to get growing. I have seen wrens and other birds to their young, maybe 5 seconds or less food, before flying back to the search for more food.
But I think the mother is too fast and too busy to stop, to do the nest around, nothing. I would not worry too much, I do not recommend the worms, because you might offend chicks, but if you are very concerned, you can try.
